Yes! This is authentic Enid Marx moquette. Such an iconic fabric, I love making little trees from moquette. This one is the red and green way of ‘shield’ designed in 1945. I’ve got a limited amount of this, so don’t be disappointed! Standing on a vintage wooden cotton reel, lovely teal thread, coordinating beautifully. It’s about 16 cm’s tall. Listing is for the main tree only, others are there to show size and groupings.

I love finding vintage fabrics that ‘speak tree’ especially if they have a wonderful story or usage in life. Moquette is a fabric everyone knows, but rarely notices so these little trees celebrate days gone bye. They also fit very well with my tree collections as shown in the other photos.
