About this item
Diagonal Bright Rainbow (number 63) EACH PIECE IS SET INTO A BOX FRAME THAT IS 13.5" x 13.5" x 1.5" DEEP. The felt area is 11.5" wide. Colours - Assorted Material - Felt (this is a slightly different frame size to any previous blob art numbered up to 54, so please check measurements if purchasing to go alongside a previously bought piece) Handmade using felt remnants, each 'blob' is individually stuffed and sewn on to a canvas, which is then fixed in to a wooden box frame. This series of tonal artworks are a gradation of multicolour tones. They are ready to hang. Initially using nature as a reference, these felt blob pieces were inspired by walks on my local beach, where with each change in tide, pebbles appeared and disappeared at the mercy of the sea. Pebbles are incredibly tactile, even under foot, and these pieces of art aim to replicate that. If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask.
