About this item
Inspired by a visit to Penmon Point on Anglesey. I've used a mix of paint, print, fabric, hand and machine stitching in this seascape. Included in the rock formation is a piece of found tile washed smooth by the sea. Lace and waste materials add texture to the rolling waves. This is framed with no glass allowing the textures to be fully appreciated. Measurements Frame 11x13 inches Artwork 9.5x7.5 inches Shipping 2nd class via Royal Mail unless otherwise requested.

Hi, welcome to Stitched Works, where everything is designed and hand made made by myself. (Except for the buttons) I strive to create high quality pieces using repurposed and vintage fabrics. My inspiration usually comes from a place, where I’ve felt an emotional connection. I think of my art as capturing a sense of time and place, a small moment in time. The cords and fastenings used for the pendants and brooches are new. I will usually post items 2nd class, with Royal Mail, within 24 hours of receiving an order. I recycle packaging when possible.
