black and white lampwork glass necklace seaglass style

9 of my own lampwork beads have been used in this simple but striking design in black and white glass which after cooling and cleaning were tumble etched to give a matt seaglass effect. The white beads are slightly larger (12mm) than the black (10mm) which gives an added visual impact, and are spaced with silver lined seed beads. The silver plated chain and toggle and bar clasp when added make this necklace 19" in length. All my lampwork beads are digitally kiln annealed after shaping in the flame to give greater resilience and durability and once cooled I clean out the clay mandrel release thoroughly by hand reaming before I use them in my designs. The photos show the colour of the beads as accurately as possible being photographed under LED conditions, however, there could be slight variations in shade depending on your monitor. Remember that these are individually handcrafted so may have small imperfections or variations between each one, which makes each of my beads beautifully unique!
