Scallop shell trinket dish bird design home decor

This beautiful scallop shell has been cleaned and decoupaged with a pretty bird design with lovely pink flowers on a pastel teal background. I finished it with gold paint round the edges and top before adding several coats of heavy duty satin varnish. This varnish gives it a lovely sheen and also protects the design. The dish would be perfect on a dressing table for your jewellery, and can also be used elsewhere in the home, for example, for coins, keys or in the office for paperclips etc. It would add a styish touch used as decoration in any room. The dish would also make a beautiful gift and will be wrapped in tissue paper and tied with ribbon (see pic) - perfect for a bridesmaid gift, gift for Mum or other occasions. It will be sent in a sturdy box to protect it. The shell measures approximately 12 by 10.5cm and I have left it natural on the reverse to appreciate the colours of the shell. There are other scallop shell dishes - some of a smaller size - found in my 'Shell dishes and decorations' or 'Decoupage decorations' collections. This shell is for indoor use only, and is not to be immersed in water, or put in a dishwasher. To clean, wipe with a dry or damp soft cloth. Each dish is individually hand decorated, so the dish you receive may not be exactly the same as the one pictured - it may be reversed or slightly different placement but will be the same design.
