Vintage and reclaimed textiles in tones of golden brown, cream, gold and pewter - inspired by a stunning Arts and Crafts metallic embroidered curtain remnant. This beautiful collection of reclaimed curtain samples is paired with vintage lace pieces, and salvaged ribbons, yarns, threads and buttons. These zero waste inspiration packs are perfect for making textile cards, gift tags and decorations, as well as using in textile art and slow stitching. Each box has with a calico foundation piece, four different colours of embroidery thread, and a needle and some pins. Plus my Introduction to Slow Stitching and Stitch Guide leaflets. My collection started as a child with an old button box and some vintage embroidery threads given to me by my late grandmother. Over the years I have collected many vintage and retro items (note I only cut into pieces that are too damaged or marked to be used in their original form) as well as a whole sewing room full of bits and pieces. I decided I would use some of this collection to create curated boxes for the newly re-discovered art of slow stitching. Get yourself a cup of tea, and relax with a needle and thread.

Recommended for adults and children over 14. Warning: Contains pins and needle with a functional sharp point. Keep out of reach of small children. Allergen: wool contains lanolin, vintage fabrics have unknown materials and dyes.
