About this item
Some pretty dangly earrings using neutral colours that make them really easy to wear with all kinds of styles. I’ve made them with tiny black and silver glass Delica beads, hand stitched using a classic brick stitch. The pattern is by Lutita a very clever Lithuanian designer. The design is double sided so that they look good from behind as well. The ear-wires are silverplated. The earrings measure 4cms (1.6ins) in length from the bottom of the earwire to the longest part of the curved side, and 3.5cms (1.4ins) wide at their widest part. They are made by a process called beadweaving, by which the beads are sewn together by strong Fireline beading thread (not unlike fishing line). They are strongly made but as the beads are glass they will break if crushed, so should be kept away from small children and situations where this might happen. I will post your earrings to you mounted on a card and wrapped in acid free tissue paper in a sturdy cardboard postage box. WHEN YOU BUY THIS ITEM £3 WILL BE DONATED TO TOYBOX, A CHARITY HELPING STREET CHILDREN ACROSS THE GLOBE. This amount is calculated by subtracting materials and admin costs from the price of the item. I do not charge for my time in making it.

Profits will be donated to Toybox, a charity that works with street children across the globe to give them a better quality of life. The amount donated will be stated on the item. I started raising money for Toybox on 25th August 2023, and to date £429.03 has been raised by my lovely Folksy customers, £424.03 of which was transferred to Toybox between 20/11/23 and 08/05/26. A message from Toybox: Please pass on our thanks to everyone who purchased your jewellery, as this gift really will help to change the lives of the children with whom we work.

Great communication, friendly and helpful too. The cuff bracelet is beautifully crafted and fits my wrist perfectly. It was very nicely wrapped and posted soon after buying. All in all another great Folksy experience.
