I have cut and hand-stitched nine little applique blackbirds adding finely embroidered details. The mount carries the title 'Blackbirds with Winter Berries' and is signed. A lovely winter gift idea to last a lifetime! The embroidery is presented in a lightly distressed whitened wood frame 7"(18cm) square. It will arrive with glass in place, corded, all ready to hang on your wall. I always pack my embroideries with great care so you can be sure it will arrive in perfect condition. I love the birds in my garden and feed them regularly. In winter I love to see the blackbirds helping themselves to the berries and rosehips, and even crab apples which they somehow swallow down whole! They were the inspiration for this embroidery.
