A wooden Hedgehog button engraved with a floral design is sewn onto circles of pale blue and terracotta wool felt. This Hedgehog is walking in foliage, beneath a blue Button Flower, with hand embroidered Flowers in red and blue embroidery threads and small beads. This circular brooch is edged with dark blue Blanket Stitches. This hand embroidered brooch is 2 inches (5.50 cms) in diameter, a nice wearable size. A metal bar brooch pin with a safety catch for secure wear is sewn on the back. This Hand Embroidered Floral Hedgehog Brooch is gift wrapped in an organza bag, decorated with a red button.
