Ideal for card making, this pack of 5 detailed embellishments have been made by using free motion embroidery techniques - drawing with the sewing machine. Each dress is slightly different from another, giving them a quirky and organic look. The colours include pinks, purples and blues and the embroidery is done with silver metallic thread. See the thimble and scissors for an idea of size. Each is approximately 6cm in length but there is some variation. Made with organza, the edges are sealed using a soldering iron, sometimes giving burnished edges which adds to the quirkiness. They can be used in a variety of ways but were designed as card making embellishments and can be applied by sticking, sewing or trapping between other materials. Perfect for someone who loves fashion, they would look great on a birthday card, but of course could be used for any occasion. Thanks for looking.
