About this item
This is one of those pieces that started with a beautiful gemstone. In this case, it is a round moonstone with a lustrous, blue sheen and a diameter of approximately 2cm. To maximise the light entering the stone, I have set it using a substantial sterling silver band and sterling silver prongs that hold the stone in place at the back. Across the front of the stone, I have placed a delicate hand saw pierced sterling silver hare. A tiny granulated 9 carat yellow gold ball sits on the top of each prong. The pendant hangs from three handmade jump rings and comes with a 1.2mm sterling silver curb chain. This pendant has been hallmarked at the Sheffield Assay Office.
