Tree Fern in Cyanotype Botanical Hoop.

Original Artwork in Embroidery Hoop. Tree fern leaflets have been used to create this Cyanotype in the Hampshire sunshine, made on natural cotton fabric and embraced by a Beech wooden hoop. The fine details of the serated edges show up beautifully against the Prussian Blue, simple nature at its best. The back is finished with white felt, and a ribbon to hang it up hoop, or it can be placed on a shelf or dresser. For further information on the Cyanotype and Wet Cyanotype techniques, see ‘About' in my shop. This hoop is named 'Friends ' and is numbered and is an original artwork. It measures approximately 6”. The beech hoop is British-made and lightly waxed to protect it. The Hoop comes carefully protected in a clear bag, and care instructions are included- dust only, do not wash. As with all art, it should be displayed out of direct sunlight and not in areas of high humidity, such as bathrooms. It will be posted in a protective box. The decorations/props shown in the photos are for illustrative purposes only. Colour and contrast may vary slightly from the image on screen due to monitor/screen settings.
