(48) Abstract Acrylic Art in Red, Orange, Blue and White

Description: This picture was created as part of a coaching session run by a friend up in Manchester. The cells are created using a few drops of Silicone Oil added to one or more of the colours. The paint is allowed to dry, and because of the high water content in the paint, this takes several days. The painting then has to be carefully washed with soapy water to remove any remaining silicone. The Resin will be repelled by this residual silicone. The picture is then finished with two coats of Resin which will protect from knocks and the damage that can be caused by Sunilght. Acrylic Fluid Art uses top-of-the-range Acrylic Paints, containing high-quality pigments, polymers and binders. These are then mixed with a Pouring Medium. The combination of the two provides the required pouring behaviour, colour, viscosity and opacity.
