These large metal balls are part of the valve system on a large steam engine, their job was to make sure the valves closed when a camshaft far beneath this level reached the correct part of its cycle. All prints supplied unmounted. Printed on Permajet 271 paper and available in sizes A5, A4 and A3. A5 and A4 are despatched in board backed envelope, A3 rolled in a postal tube.

My local photo club arranged private access to an old water supply pumping station and this was just one of the many interesting things there. All of my images are printed on 271gsm Permajet papers and supplied rolled in tube. My ref DSG_2263
