Christmas decoration boston terrier dog wood slice hanging decoration

This wood slice hanging decoration has been painted white, then decorated with decoupage using a lovely Boston terrier dog design. I have highlighted the design with gold paint and painted the edge in red before sealing with satin varnish. I finished the decoration with shiny beads and twine, and it is unsealed on the back. You can see and feel the texture of the natural wood rings through the decoupage - this and the natural bark edging adds to its rustic charm. This unique decoration would add colour and charm to any Christmas tree or could be hung elsewhere in the home. It would make a pretty gift for a dog lover, perhaps a secret Santa gift or other occasions.
