Description: This picture was created using high quality Amsterdam paints, containing bold pigments that allow a higher proportion of pouring medium to be added to the paint. This creates a more fluid Paint which moves easily when blown. Since the density of all the colours used is similar, the colours flow, rather than merge. This usually reduces or prevents cells, although some can be seem at the periphery. Two coats of Epoxy Resin have been added to protect from knocks and the ultra-violet light in sunlight which causes colours to fade over time. Acrylic Fluid Art uses top-of-the-range Acrylic Paints, containing high-quality pigments, polymers and binders. These are then mixed with a Pouring Medium. The combination of the two provides the required pouring behaviour, colour, viscosity and opacity.
