About this item
A crocheted coaster made from a high quality recycled cotton yarn in multi shades of green and yellow. The limited edition yarn is made up of 60 individual strands and the crochet stitches bring out the attractive shading. The coaster has a soft and pliable texture but sits flat on a surface. This leaf shaped coaster is both functional and stylish and will look equally good when used in a kitchen, or for outside entertaining. It will protect surfaces from hot coffees to cocktails and it could also be used under a small vase or plant pot to protect a painted windowsill or glass table. Each coaster measures approximately 10cm in length, excluding the leaf stalk, and 9cm across its widest part. It is approximately 5mm thick. A lovely present idea for a plant lover or for a small new home gift that's both pretty and practical. I have included an option to buy a set of 2 at a discounted price of £7. Care instructions: May be washed by hand at 30°C, do not wash with other items. Reshape whilst damp. Do not bleach; Do not tumble dry; Cool iron only.

I'm always drawn to variegated yarns and I thought this would be ideal for making leaves. Adapted from a pattern by Chris Norrington in her lovely book, 'Crochet Collage Garden'.

These are lovely, well made and gorgeous colours. The larger one is great to hold a small plant pot and the smaller basket holds trinkets or in my case a couple of USB cables!! I’d already bought a small lidded basket from Jane so decided to get a couple more items. They arrived quickly and were well packaged and wrapped in lovely tissue paper. Very happy with my purchases and would highly recommend. Thanks Jane!

Bought 2 itemsThis a is a lovely small basket that I have in my bathroom with cotton wool balls in it so having a lid keeps them clean. Really nice neutral colour too so would fit anywhere. Great price, delivery was quick with my item very well packaged. I’ve now bought a couple more items from Jane which have just arrived and they are lovely too! Highly recommended, thanks!!

Bought 1 itemBought this crochet pot as a gift for a friend. Love the recycled thread. It's beautifully made and surprisingly sturdy. The button adds a lovely touch.
