destroying angel mushrooms - original A6 illustration and collage

they might kill you, they might not: a sweet little mushroom family of delightfully toxic destroying angels. (oh who are we kidding. they may be angelic to look at, but they can't wait to murder you.) this artwork is an original collaged piece on khadi paper, made with layers of paint and papers of various types, such as vintage, printed and handmade tissue papers. the mushrooms are hand drawn on a separate piece of khadi paper, coloured with watercolour paints, and each one is then cut out, and added as a final layer to the collage. the whole piece is then mounted onto an A6 sized piece of textured paper (300gsm), which i have painted with a paynes grey to give a dark surround/background. one of 4 illustrations i made during my mushroom phase. others can be seen in the group pic, and are available in separate listings in my shop. A6 sized (10.5cm x 14.85m) sold as seen - unframed and without a mount. signed on the reverse. please note that copyright remains with the artist. i aim to post all orders within 24 hours of payment, using royal mail first class. items will be protected in a plastic sleeve and shipped in a board-backed envelope. thanks for looking! please see my shop for other items and original designs.
