This little hen (cut from my hand-dyed recycled cotton) with my own words hand-stitched into the piece, is a favourite with those who believe in free-range poultry keeping! A unique gift, guaranteed to bring a smile, or a cheerful addition to a corner of your own kitchen perhaps? Mount carries the title 'Happy Little Hen' together with artist's signature - my studio stamp is on the back. The embroidery is presented in a lightly distressed white wood frame measuring 7" (18cm) square, and comes glazed, corded, all ready to hang. I always pack my embroideries with great care so you can be sure it will arrive in perfect condition. You will only pay one delivery charge of £5.50 (1st Class Royal Mail) no matter how many framed items are in your basket. (All cards are post free) Ref: E064

I have kept hens for many years and love to hear their happy murmurings as I work in the garden in the summertime! I wrote these words myself, and have dyed the hen fabric using a variety of techniques to obtain the feathery appearance.
