Red Kites original art linoprint handprinted A4 size

I have individually handprinted this linocut of two Red Kites in flight from my own design, which was inspired by the red kites we see and hear often in our area. It is a 'jigsaw' print. To do this I carved the whole design, then cut the lino into pieces according to colour, so each piece can then be inked individually before printing the whole picture. This takes more time, but allows unlimited printing in different colours. This print is also available in another colourway. It is printed on quality A4 printing paper which is 300gsm and acid-free, and the actual print size is 21x21cm. I used Caligo safewash quality inks and have signed each print. This is an open edition print. The print will be sent unframed and unmounted in a cellophane bag and cardboard backed envelope. Although a frame is not included, I have shown the print in two different sized frames to give you an idea of what it could look like. The square frame is Ikea Lomviken 32x32cm and the other frame is Ikea Knoppang 30x40cm. As each print is individually handprinted, there may be slight variations or imperfections which are part of the uniqueness and charm of handprints. This print will be sent within one working day of purchase by second class post. The copyright for this design remains with the artist, and the image may not be reproduced or used for commercial purposes without permission from the artist, Judy Rowley.
