Shark bookmark- textile bookmark in aqua blues and navy

Shark attack - a perfect bookmark for those exciting adventure stories. Ideal for kids and adults, even hard to buy for teenagers. Practical and beautiful, my handmade bookmarks are very tactile - made from quality quilting cottons and pure wool felt. Soft and pliable - this bookmark has no card insert, so it won't be damaged by bending. My zero-waste, sustainable approach to crafting means I try to use every piece of fabric left from cutting out my large makes. I carefully cut fabric strips from my scraps, and securely machine-stitched them to a felt backing with a tiny blanket stitch to catch in the raw edges. Using coordinated threads adds extra detail and texture to both sides of the bookmark. These bookmarks use a stunning shark-themed quilting cotton print from Lewis and Irene in aqua and blue tones, and I chose a dark navy felt background to add a little moody menace feel.
