About this item
I have taken a wooden tube with a lid and beaded around it in the colours of the waves to make this pretty needlecase. It would make a lovely present for a needleworker, or how about treating yourself? It will help prevent accidental stabs when you are rummaging through your needlework supplies. Measuring 6.4cm (2.5 inches) in length and 1.8cm (0.7 inches) in diameter, please be aware that some longer needles may not fit inside. A few needles have been included in the case. Your needlecase will be posted First Class, wrapped in acid-free tissue paper in a sturdy cardboard postage box. WHEN YOU BUY THIS ITEM £2 WILL BE DONATED TO TOYBOX, A CHARITY HELPING STREET CHILDREN ACROSS THE GLOBE. This amount is calculated by subtracting materials and admin costs from the price of the item. I do not charge for my time in making it.

Profits will be donated to Toybox, a charity that works with street children across the globe to give them a better quality of life. The amount donated will be stated on the item. I started raising money for Toybox on 25th August 2023, and to date £424.03 has been raised by my lovely Folksy customers, £424.03 of which was transferred to Toybox between 20/11/23 and 08/05/26. A message from Toybox: Please pass on our thanks to everyone who purchased your jewellery, as this gift really will help to change the lives of the children with whom we work.

A few years ago I bought a kit to make these from the Nottingham Beadshop. I loved the process of covering something with beadwork, and subsequently started designing my own patterns. This one is based on a Bargello needlepoint embroidery design.

Great communication, friendly and helpful too. The cuff bracelet is beautifully crafted and fits my wrist perfectly. It was very nicely wrapped and posted soon after buying. All in all another great Folksy experience.
