About this item
I have cut out copper discs of diameter 15mm/ over half an inch and used patination techniques to create verdigris on the surface, making blue /green tones with some darker green. The process has also produced some red on one of the earrings, with some interesting corrosion. The edges have been returned to raw copper as a good contrast to the verdigris. These colours are sealed and preserved and are much brighter when in natual light. The discs hang from handmade sterling silver ear hooks and the total length is 25mm/ 1 inch. Presented in a good quality, recycled cardboard gift box; tied with raffia ready to gift and posted in plastic free packaging. Thank you for your interest and supporting small British business.
