About this item
Who doesn't love snowdrops? The fragile blooms that announce spring is on its way. This listing is for one Snowdrops round wooden decoration hanging on a ribbon. A sustainable and long-lasting way of bringing your favourite flowers into your home. It is laser printed from my original design of a paper collage. You can see the original collage in my photos. The round decoration measures 80mm in diameter, hanging from a ribbon approximately 80mm also. On the back of each decoration is my stamped logo. Give as a gift that can embellish any space for years to come. It will beautifully adorn a door knob or handle, hang from a hook on a wall or create a beautiful display hanging from a branch. It will enhance any living space, your kitchen, lounge, dining room, workspace, or bedroom. Please note, it is intended for indoor use and is for decorative purposes only. It is not a toy. UK postage is included in the price. Each decoration will be carefully wrapped and sent securely in recycled packaging as I am trying to be as eco-friendly as possible. Please see my separate listing for buying all three of the wooden decorations (in my photos).

This poem that I wrote in 2013 is my inspiration for creating a snowdrops paper collage, and then a wooden decoration from the collage. Snowdrops Fragile, tender tendrils of green peeping out of the earth. Small, almost insignificant bulbs of white barely supported by slender green stalks. Yet these tiny white flowers make a huge announcement, a proclamation that Spring is on its way. The cycle of nature is turning, the time of hibernation, of huddling by a warm fire reluctant to go out will soon be over. Delicate drops of white scattered among decaying leaves and brown earth, defying frost and snow and all the weight of weather nature has to outpour, herald a time of warmth, longer days, sunshine. And make my heart sing. © 9 Feb 13

These cards are beautiful. The poetry is just perfect. Each card contains words and situations that are familiar to many of us. Whoever reads them cannot fail for their mood to be uplifted. I will be enclosing them in cards and letters which I send. But these could equally be framed and hung on a wall to be read and enjoyed by friends and people time and again. Highly recommended. I'm so pleased I purchased two packs. The package arrived quickly and packaged with thought and care.
