Handmade A6 Hardcover Journal made with Floral 1950's Vintage Fabric

This was the very first piece of vintage barkcloth I bought and the A5 version of this was the first book I ever sold. When the fabric arrived I was blown away by the quality and the vibrancy of the colours given that it was from the early 1950's - I've been collecting vintage fabric ever since. One of my favourite parts of the process when bookbinding is matching ribbon and coloured paper that pick out a colour from the fabric - I love the red in this one which really make the colours it pop. Completely unique, Handcrafted A6 journal, notebook or sketchbook with 72 white unlined pages Made with care from high quality 130gsm smooth white paper which is hand cut, folded, stitched and bound, and then covered with genuine vintage cotton barkcloth fabric from the early 1950's. Each book I make includes a ribbon bookmark and coloured end-papers made from high quality Canford or Canson paper, hand picked to match one of the colours in the fabric design. This book has a stunning bright red satin ribbon and matching Canson Mi-Tientes end papers. The final picture shows the pattern placement on the back cover Suitable for a range of media including: Graphite pencil, coloured pencils, gell and rollerball pens.
