About this item
A 2-colour screenprint entitled 'Donkey Treasury No.1' printed in ochre (light bronze brown) and dark grey. One of my many donkey-themed prints, this one imagines ancient treasures, uncovered from the mysterious 'donkey-world' and displayed for all to see, including a helping hand, monoliths and a couple of donkeys too! This is one of my many donkey prints. I like to champion these splendid creatures, and imagine them roaming and having adventures in a surreal world without being bothered by pesky humans! Ochre and dark grey inks on white Seawhite 300gsm acid-free paper. From an edition of 28, signed, titled and numbered. The print image measures H24.5xW17cm. The paper measures H29.7xW21cm There is a companion print, entitled 'Donkey Treasury No.2' also in my Folksy shop: https://folksy.pro/items/8462724-Donkey-Treasury-No-2-A4-two-colour-screen-print All prints will be posted flat in a cellophane sleeve and protective packaging.

Donkeys...Where do I start? I've been creating prints of donkeys for quite a while now. They are a constant source of inspiration; their awkwardness, confusion, modesty and charm, to name a few things!
