About this item
This little print was made in two stages, with the hand-carved linocut message 'You are Lovely', printed in a deep purple ink over a loose pale pink watercolour sweep of a heart. The paper is a beautiful off-white 'Khadi' paper from India, which measures approximately 15cm x 11cm. Each of this small edition of just 8 prints has been signed and numbered and having been painted and printed by hand, slight variations from print to print will occur; such is the beauty of a unique, hand-crafted piece. Your print will be posted to you in a cello with a back board, ready to present as is or to frame with the mount and surround of your choosing. Small in both size and price, these prints make lovely easy to post gifts and the loveliest of messages to arrive in the post, like a heart warming hug in an envelope!

My work predominantly comprises hand cut and burnished lino prints, inspired by the natural world and those important people in my life. I love the combination of image and text, so my own cursive writing frequently plays an integral part. * I endeavour to represent my pieces as clearly and with colours as true to life as possible, however some slight variations in tone between the image on screen and the piece itself may occur.*
