Sold 261016 t Kingfisher Framed Stained Glass Suncatcher Tile

This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique. A Kingfisher tile in lovely shades of Turquoise, Emerald and a bit of Red. The Kingfisher is turquoise with a red chest and white throat. The surround is clear prettily textured glass which has a super texture. I've then framed the suncatcher with a pretty emerald border with red corners. I've added a twisted wire frame round the suncatcher for strength and neatness. It looks wonderful in the window with the sun casting the colours which change with the light, It also makes a very pretty picture hanging on the wall. The suncatcher is 10 cm square. It hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely attached at either side.. I I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure it is unique. I also have a Butterfly, Bee and Dragonfly in the same style. You can find them as separate listings.
