These longer needlecases are really useful for anyone who needs somewhere safe to store their sewing needles, especially if their collection includes longer darning needles and the like. I have taken a case which is crafted from turned wood and have decorated it with beadwork; a peyote design in shades of blue, turquoise and silver, made from size 11 glass Delica beads. The needlecase is 9.5cms (3.75 ins) long and 1.8cms (0.7 ins) in diameter. A few needles have been supplied inside the case. Your needlecase will be posted First Class, wrapped in acid-free tissue paper in a sturdy cardboard postage box. WHEN YOU BUY THIS ITEM £3 WILL BE DONATED TO TOYBOX, A CHARITY HELPING STREET CHILDREN ACROSS THE GLOBE. This amount is calculated by subtracting materials and admin costs from the price of the item. A few years ago I bought a kit to make these from the Nottingham Beadshop. I loved the process of covering something with beadwork, and subsequently started designing my own patterns of which this is one. It is based on the bargello tapestry design.
Contains needles. Keep away from young children.
