About this item
Sunrise over misty blue mountains, a beautiful peaceful image from a now war-torn country. Really bright and colourful painting full of hope for the future, a reminder of how resilient nature can be. I started this painting just after the war broke out after seeing photos of how incredibly stunning the country is. I wanted to help in whatever way I could so with that in mind all monies I make on this painting will go directly to the Red Cross Ukraine appeal. Dimensions: the painting it's self is 40x50cm and framed it's 44x54cm

Sometimes we are just forced to act and after seeing the deviation happening in Ukraine I felt the call to help. After gibing away most of our camping kit, old warm clothes, blankets and sleeping bags I started looking for photos of the place before war broke out again. This painting was a result of those emotions, horror at what was happening but also hope that it would end soon. Now years later I still have hope that the sun will rise again over a peaceful and beautiful country. All monies from this sale will be donated to the Red Cross Ukraine appeal. Thank you
