The decorative cover has been printed onto a linen effect card, inside there are 32 pages made from 140gms recycled cartridge paper. The first and last page feature a small artwork, one an ex libris label and one the artists's logo, all other pages are blank. The book has been hand bound and stitched with waxed linen thread.

I wanted to make a book which would be practical, not so precious that it would inhibit the user, suitable for drawing, sketching or writing. I have a lifelong passion for pattern and illustration and wanted to share these designs with others in a simple but special way. I enjoyed making this book, I hope someone else will enjoy using it. It's the sort of book I would have loved as a child, although this is not age specific I think it will appeal to the child inside.
