I am proud to be half Welsh and really feel a connection to the landscapes there. Following my accident I got even closer to my dad as we compared experiences of his mini strokes to my brain injury. One thing we both shared was the importance of having roots especially when the world is turned upside down. In this collection I explore these roots and their importance in life and our place in the world. Hopefully by looking at these pieces you will also take the time to think about your roots and where you feel you are most at home when life gets tough.
