Sterling Silver Turquoise Pendant, December Birthstone Necklace

Turquoise is the traditional birthstone for December birthdays. This pretty, simple style of pendant is a great introduction to the beauty of this striking blue gemstone. This beautiful pendant has been made from a single 8 mm turquoise gemstone bead, hand wrapped in a pretty knot work of 925 sterling silver wire. It is finished with an 18 inch sterling silver trace chain, ready for wearing or gifting. Every knot work pendant I make is unique due to the characteristics of natural gemstones and the instinctive way the wire is hand formed around the bead, this makes each pendant I make extra special. Please check all sizes carefully as I often use close up photography to show the detail of my work. These particular pendants are approximately 20 mm long including the jump ring by 10mm wide. These pendants are made from reconstituted turquoise which varies in colour from bright to sky blue and often has pitting, lighter ripples or darker veins within the stone.
