I’ve refinished this miniature chest of drawers with duck egg and beige chalk paint, then sealed with clear and dark waxes. The tiny hedgehog is made of paper mache, formed from a nugget of tin foil and covered with layers of gluey paper, then painted, waxed, and glued into place. Approximate measurements 12th scale: H:10cm (including hog) W:6cm D:3cm My assemblage art pieces are hand made with patience and love - they often take weeks to complete, and made for decoration only (they may have sharp edges and small components, so should be kept out of the reach of children). I love to upcycle vintage dolls house furniture and miniatures, and then adding a small, paper mache critter. This piece was inspired by the lovely hedgehogs which sometimes visit our back garden.
