About this item
This pack of leaf embellishments have been made by using free motion embroidery techniques - drawing with the sewing machine. Each one is slightly different from another, giving them a quirky and organic look. They are embroidered in gold metallic thread. Made with layered shades of organza, the edges are sealed using a soldering iron, sometimes giving burnished edges which adds to the quirkiness. There is also a fragility about their look. They can be used in a variety of ways but were designed as card making embellishments and can be applied by sticking, sewing or trapping between other materials.
