PRE-ORDER - 2-3 weeks! Pink Elephant Butterfly Sculpture

This utterly adorable little elephant might be visiting us from an alien planet, or perhaps it has escaped from a particularly quirky book of fairytales! Regardless, it is now looking for a loving home. It has butterfly wings for ears and a wonderfully bright pink and yellow colour scheme that will cheer up any nook or shelf. The sculpture was made in my Primrose Hill studio using paper mache and air dry clay, with bits of metal wire for a charming pair of antennae and glass beads for eyes. It was then coated with a sand effect acrylic medium for an interesting surface texture, and painted with highly pigmented, professional quality acrylic inks. Each elephant measures approximately 15 cm in width and 10 cm in height. Do note that since I shape all my sculptures by hand without using molds, there may be some variation in the measurements, and each elephant will have its own personality.
