HANDSPUN KNITTED SHAWL OR WRAP Measurements - It measures 55" (140cm) wide excluding the tassels and 25" (63.5cm) high from the centre top to the centre bottom. This exclusive design (created without a pattern), was knitted with my own handspun yarns. The olive green and the peach are both 100% merino wool and the rust yarn is 100% Corriedale wool. I knitted this crescent shaped shawl or wrap, using textured stitches such as honeycomb stitch and bubble stitch. The fibres are merino and Corriedale wool. I added a pointy border and two generous tassels which add length and weight helping the ends to stay in place. This shawl is so cosy to wear, either in the traditional way with the point at the back tied at the front or secured with a shawl pin, or the 'on trend' way, with the point at the front. I think this would look stunning with a dress on a special occasion, or it would also look great with jeans and a jumper or jacket. A great accessory to throw on for cooler summer evenings or mornings or wintry days. Please bear in mind that different screens can show colours differently. Please feel free to ask me any questions.
