Embroidered hoop art - Tiger Roar Green

Roar.... a hand embroidered felt tiger on a green checked cotton print, mounted in a quality wood hoop frame. Perfect for tiger lovers of all ages, this little fabric wall art is ideal to decorate your home, or given as a gift. My own hand drawn design - originally created for my Tiger Tea party quilt - the tiger was hand cut from pure wool felt in orange colour and embroidered by hand to a quilting cotton background using chain stitch and backstitch to create his lovely black and white stripey markings. I have also hand embroidered the word Roar in chain stitch. The fabric was carefully stretched over a wooden hoop, and hand finished at the back with a circle of dark orange wool felt stitched with a blanket stitch - so the back is as neat as the front. A simple white ribbon loop allows the textile art to be easily hung on a wall, or you can prop your picture on a shelf. Please display out of reach of young children. Size - the hoop is 6 inches across, the hanging loop is another 3 inches. Care - dust with a dry cloth or brush
