About this item
Inspired by my fascination with moving jewellery, this ladybird has been designed so that its wings can be moved by hand to reveal a silver picture inside. Within the pendant, there is a pretty sterling silver daisy with tiny leaves. All parts have been hand saw pierced. The pendant will be worn with the copper wings closed in place but the charm of the piece is what is hidden inside. Although the wings are moveable, they will naturally fall back to a closed position. The wings are hammered to create shine and reflection and have been decorated with sterling silver spots. This would make a perfect gift for anyone who loves gardening or nature or just original jewellery. The pendant has a fixed bail behind the ladybird's head and hangs from a recycled sterling silver curb chain. This pendant has been hallmarked. The pendant measures approximately 3.2cm in length and 2.2cm across.
