An amber hand blown glass rondel forms the big feature sunshine, visible low in a deep jade/turquoise sky over purple waves.... I'm aiming for a stormy sky over a rough ocean with a huge sunshine signalling better weather ahead. The amber rondel is mouth blown and has a beautiful marking in the centre called the 'navel'. The surrounding sky is dark jade/turquoise without any texture. Two soft purples form the rolling waves, one textured lavender purple, one bluer which has a smooth finish. A fab wee study that changes in different light conditions. Once cut, the panel is then leaded, soldered and cemented. Hooks have been added for hanging this piece in your window. Approx size 18.5cm x 24.5cm
