Stained Glass Hare Panel - Moon Gazing Hare - Window Decoration

Hare stained glass panel showing a moon gazing hare handmade by Carole’s Glass. I’ve made hares before and countryside scenes for other panels but never put the two together. Think this goes really well and shows lots of different colours and textures. The hare has been made from a medium amber and streaky white sea glass. The panel from 7 types of green glass and 4 of blue. The moon has been made from opaque white glass with copper foil overlaid and soldered. Each piece of glass is cut by hand, ground, washed, foiled and soldered together. The moon and hare have been attached on top of the panel. I have added a twisted wire to form a decorative boarder, add strength and also form the hanging rings. This panel measures 17.5 cms x 28 cms. I will supply a window hook so you can hang it as soo as received but please remember to wet before pushing firmly on the window. As this panel is quite heavy I would suggest hanging from something more secure.. I normally post the following working day and this will be sent using Royal Mail Tracked 24 with signature.
