I always like to have a smaller hand stitching project to work on alongside other larger pieces. This piece was inspired by a visit to Glasgow enjoying all the Rennie Mackintosh artworks. I love the endlessly inventive geometric patterns that can be created in blackwork embroidery. However as with all hand stitching they are hugely time consuming, very addictive and extremely satisfying when finished. Onto the next idea now! I do hope you enjoy my textile artworks as much as i have loved crafting them.
