Green Suncatcher Stained Glass Handmade Colour Wheel Handmade

This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique. A new colour variation to add to my collection of colourwheels this one using 16 different types and colours of beautiful green glass. A wonderful green extravaganza. A big splash of summer to hang in your window and remind you of the sun on the days when it is hiding. At the centre is a big green glass nugget which I made in my glass kiln from fusing glass with accents of sparkly dichroic glass. These nuggets are unique and unrepeatable as each turns out different. The nugget is set inside a 16 segmented circle. I've used lots of different types of glass for these, textured and steaky. It has lots of movement and interest. The circle is framed for strength and neatness with twisted wire. This is 13cms in diameter and hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely attached to the top of the suncatcher. it is would make a wonderfully bright addition to any room. It is totally individual and I am really pleased with it. It looks equally good on the wall as in the window. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure they are unique. I can never make another just the same as this, as my dichroic nuggets are unrepeatable. You can find several other colour variations as separate listings in my shop as seen in the last photo.
