Happenings in Donkey World No.13 A3 linocut screen-print (on lemon yellow paper)

This is a hand-pulled A3 size linocut / screen-print entitled 'Happenings in Donkey World No.13' printed in black on lemon yellow paper. This is the thirteenth print in the 'happenings in donkey-world' series. Like all of my donkey adventure prints I decided to try and create a secret world that only donkeys know about, full of intriguing and slightly confusing features for them to explore (plus a few helping hands!). The compositions are often influenced by my dreams, and also by models I have made as a basis for the 'donkey world'. Black System 3 ink on lemon yellow Seawhite 230gsm acid-free paper. The print edition is two (!) and are signed, stamped, titled and noted as 'A.P.' (artist's proofs). The print started out as a linocut. I then added the halftones (spotty bits), before printing the edition as a screen-print. The print image measures H38xW24cm. The paper measures H42xW29.7cm. Printed by myself in Sheffield, UK. Each one is slightly different, as is the nature with screen-prints. All prints will be posted securely in a card tube and sent by first-class post (UK) or Airmail (rest of the world).
