About this item
This is my one-of-a-kind magical secret fairy door is decorated with poppies, butterflies, toadstool, horseshoe together with a cute owl and hedgehog Handmade with white stoneware clay using the slab method. Each feature has been individually moulded and attached using slip. After the initial bisque firing the fairy door has been gently sanded before applying two coats of underglaze to enhance the features. The window, doorknob, sunflowers, sunshine yellow butterflies, and toadstool have all been clear glazed to add a shiny effect. It has been stoneware fired in the kiln to 1260C A metal ring has been attached to the back of the fairy door ready to hang. Size: 15.5cm H x 17.5cm W x 3.5cm D All my ceramic creations have been individually handcrafted by me with love and care. No two pieces are the same as each one has its own unique characteristics.
