About this item
As with a lot of my makes I started making feathers when a customer asked if I could make her one. This feather has been made from 7 different types of colourful stained glass to represent a mallard duck. It will look beautiful in any window and doesn’t have to be in direct sunlight to look lovely. Each piece of glass will been cut by hand, ground, foiled, washed and soldered together before being washed again and then polished. The quill has been made from tinned twisted wire. The feather measures 20cms x 6.5cms excluding the wire quill. If you have any questions please contact me before purchasing. I will supply one window hook so you can hang it up as soon as received. Please remember to wet the plunger before you push it firmly onto the window. If you are buying as a present and sending direct I am more than happy to gift wrap and include a message. I normally post the following working day and this will be sent using 1st class signed for mail.

Please note Royal Mail have increased their postage costs yet again. I send all my suncatchers through Royal Mail using Tracked 24 with/without signature and in some instances, depanding on value, Royal Mail Special Delivery. I have always found their service to be reliable and generally arrives the following day however I appreciate they are getting very expensive, so if you would prefer I can send using Tracked 48. Please contact me if you would like this option and note this will take longer to be delivered by Royal Mail. If you would like me to post your parcel by Special Next Day Delivery which SHOULD ensure it arrives the following working day by 1.00pm please see my listing under ‘Postage Upgrade’. Please be aware that I will do my best to post the same day but cannot guarantee this will happen - the listing gives more information. If you are buying an item as a present and would like it sent direct I am more than happy to gift wrap and include a message, just let me know what you want to say and make sure you confirm the recipients address. I normally post ready made items the next working day. If you see something you like but would prefer in a different colour just drop me a message as I am more than happy to make to your requirements.
