About this item
A pretty pair of earrings in green with sterling silver ear wires. Each earring is a beaded bead: a bead made from smaller beads. I have used beautiful kite beads in a matt green colour with 4mm firepolished beads in a lighter, slightly blue-ish green. Tiny silver coloured seed beads complete the earrings. Each earring is 2.8cms (1.1 ins) long from the bottom of the earwire, and about 1.9cms (0.75 ins) wide. I will post your earrings to you wrapped in acid free tissue paper and in a sturdy cardboard postage box. WHEN YOU BUY THIS ITEM £5 WILL BE DONATED TO TOYBOX, A CHARITY HELPING STREET CHILDREN ACROSS THE GLOBE. This amount is calculated by subtracting materials and admin costs from the price of the item. The earrings have been made using a tutorial from Ellad2, an inspirational Serbian jewellery designer who allows products made from her patterns to be sold by the makers. Her pattern is a bracelet pattern called ‘Kite Bracelet’ which I have adapted.
These earrings are strongly made but as the beads are glass they will break if crushed, so should be kept away from small children and situations where this might happen.
