Tanzanite and Teal Triangle Beaded Earrings

An unusual colour combination, but one that works well. These sweet little earrings are made from silver-lined Delica beads in a light purple (tanzanite) and a teal colour. They are finished with good quality sterling silver stud posts. Each side of the triangle is 2.9 cms (1.1 ins) long. They are very light in weight – weighing around 2gms each. Please see the photograph of the earrings with a £1 coin for size comparison. To make these earrings I have used size 11 silver-lined Miyuki Delica beads in aquamarine and lilac. The earrings hang from a tiny sterling-silver jump ring and sterling silver posts with an integral 6mm stud. The earrings are made by a process called beadweaving, by which the beads are sewn together by strong Fireline beading thread (not unlike fishing line). They are strongly made but as the beads are glass they will break if crushed, so should be kept away from small children and situations where this might happen. I will post your earrings to you wrapped in acid free tissue paper and in a sturdy cardboard postage box.
