Betsy Bea. An organic cotton handkerchief, made from organic Liberty Tana Lawn. The design is Betsy Bea, in the lilac colourway. Inspired by Liberty’s iconic 1930s style florals, this charming summer meadow was hand-painted in our London studio. An all-over pattern of mixed garden flowers, Betty Bea features a delicate scattering of outlined buttercups, primroses, morning glory, bluebells and daisies. This fabric is GOTS certified: The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is recognised as the world’s leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibres. It defines high-level environmental criteria along the entire organic textiles supply chain and requires compliance with social criteria as well. This handkerchief measures 26cm in length. (10.2 inches) The seams have been double stitched for strength. Machine wash at 40 degrees, or gently handwash. These little handkerchiefs are a much more attractive option to dealing with hot flushes or random tears than paper tissues, and wash really well.
