About this item
Original Art- The beautiful pinnate leaves of the Umbrella fern are captured here in a Traditional Cyanotype. By removing some of the foliage just before full exposure the blue colours are created, giving the piece depth and fullness. This eye-catching piece would adorn any room or hallway beautifully. This Original Photogram was created on 300gsm acid-free water colour paper, which was placed onto a wooden artist cradle and cold waxed for protection, it was then mounted into a beautiful smooth Black Floating Frame, putting it into a class of its own. Named ‘Blue Yonder’ it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity as an Original Artwork 1/1. The artwork is fitted with d rings and corded ready to be hung and admired. The Artwork size is 11" x14", Frame size is 12.1/2" x 15.1/2" x 1.1/4" deep. This framed photogram will be well-wrapped and posted in a protective box with Free UK delivery-by 48hr tracked Royal Mail. Colour and contrast may vary slightly from the image on screen due to monitor/screen settings. Images shown in room mockups are to give impressions only. Umbrella Fern is usually found in high dry altitudes such as New Zealand, Porto Rica, and Hawaii, the fern gets its common name from its low-growing circular form, and drooping fronds that look like an umbrella. I purchased these beautiful fronds from my local florist.
